Steep is an extreme winter sports simulation game. The game's setting features large parts of the Alps and Alaska, divided into several big sectors. There you can go skiing or snowboarding, or even take to the skies with a paraglider or a wingsuit.

During the gameplay, you can meet other players and take part in their custom-created challenges (e.g. time trials or stunts). An important part of Steep is the rivalry between players, featuring online rankings, and participating in the challenges scattered all over the game's world. You can also ingore the missions and other players and simply enjoy the wintery landscapes.

There are unique challenges for each of the four available disciplines, such as a ski slalom in the forest or a wingsuit flight as close to a mountain's slope as possible. The players can also form teams and have fun together, even when they all choose a different sport (it allows for performing spectacular team stunts), while the exploration lovers can search for many hidden locations.
